American Modern Jewelry Inc. started out as purely a wholesale jewelry design and manufacturing company. In fact, if in the last 11 years if you have purchased jewelry from a mall, tourist shop, surf or skate shop, or boutique you may already own one of our designs! For years we sold finished jewelry to retail stores all over the USA, Canada, and the Islands.

In January of 2000 we decided to open the American Modern Jewelry Store on Corrine Drive in Orlando Florida. The store has naturally evolved over the years and now in addition to finished and custom jewelry design we now sell unique gifts, greeting cards, home decor items, and as you probably already know, Beads.

When we opened the store the response we received from Orlando was so great that we eventually liquidated the wholesale arm of the business to concentrate on what we really love, making one of a kind custom jewelry designs for people in a boutique environment.

Now after over seven years at our current location we have become so much more than a just a jewelry and bead store. You can make your own jewelry if you like (we'll even teach you) or you can have a really fun 'girl's night out'' party, or you can find unique christmas (or anytime) gifts and some of the best greeting cards around!!

We wanted American Modern Jewelry and the BEAD Lounge to be a Jewelry, Gift, and Beading experience like no other, "Not your typical BEAD store" if you will. From Gifts to Beads we choose items that you might not see just anywhere all in a fun, relaxed, and creative atmosphere.

+jewelry+ We are a one stop shop for all kinds of unique gifts but as you probably guessed we specialize in fantastic jewelry!! We custom make 95% of our jewelry stock which means you get great 'one of a kind' designs and great 'direct' prices too (cut out the middleman...). There are hundreds of pieces of jewelry in stock at any given time plus new designs roll out daily, and if you are looking for something in particular most of the time we can just make it for you! We also can design custom jewelry for your wedding, prom, or any special occasion!

+unique gifts+ We have unique gifts for almost everyone and we are a one-stop-shop for the Holidays! We fly around the country looking for new gift lines to add to the store. Great new stuff comes in all the time, and there is so much, you should just come see... but just so you know we are constantly on the look out for the best, coolest new gifts and we tend to buy from small companies that concentrate not just on style but on quality.

+cards+ We carry the full line of portal greeting cards - for all occasions. We looked at every card company out there and portal has absolutely the best 'all occasion' cards on the planet! Plus, we are carrying two new specialty card lines: 'Talk to the Paw' which is pretty much like it sounds , really funny animal cards, and 'MikWright' which is a kitschy, hysterically funny card line (you should have seen us picking them out...).

+incense+ We stock only premium indian incenses, and take my word for it, in India they know incense! Whether for yoga, meditation, or just to make your place smell great these are the best around.

+beads+ Of course we carry thousands of the best beads of all types, including silver, swarovski, glass, pendants, findings, tools etc... And we import to assure we can offer you the best quality at low prices.
